Welcome to The Little Red Stove! My name is Megan, and my room has been the kitchen for as long as I can remember. I went to college in New York City, finished my masters degree on Long Island, and now thanks to my incredible husband James’ commitment to the U.S. Navy, we travel wherever the seas take us.
The stove is on, and my kitchen is warming up. Join me at my table as I cook up all of the treats and hearty foods that allow me to bring home with me wherever I go. I am a childhood teacher, married to a U.S. Navy Officer, with my life divided between the home where I grew up, and wherever we are shipped off to next. Cooking on my little red stove is where I learned that food can inspire a state of mind, and that home is wherever there is a good meal and family.
I am influenced by the places we go, the people we meet, and the many kitchens and tables we will gather around along this journey. I’m a little bit New York, and a lotta bit hungry.
